What is a Wayfinder?

Wayfinders do not look for a well worn path or even a path less travelled but instead forge their very own.  A path that has no previous users.  It’s overgrown, tumultuous and scarey, there is no clear sense of direction or know where they are headed. Any and all obstacles along the way are completely hidden and they have no idea how hard or how big they will be.

BUT they walk the path anyway because they follow this inexplicable pull within themselves and they KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt that that is the direction in which they must travel.

It makes no logical sense, others fear they will be lost, that they are crazy but they MUST carve out their own path so that others may follow along the path after,  in turn having a much easier and safer journey.  Because their journey down the path is the blueprint; they find a way to move to a place and explore terrain no one has ever traversed.  They found the way, so you do not have to and that is no easy feat.

Wayfinders are the soldiers unable to turn away from a challenge, who do what they believe in and feel is right for their own journey despite the tittering, the judgment and fear laden opinions of others.  They are courageous by very nature, they are determined and they fear the way of normalcy and mediocrity way more than possible failure and the unknown.

They are here to show you what is possible in this life time and without them you may struggle to see what is possible. They move with fire in their hearts and deep, unwavering courage in their bones.

That is how you may recognise a Wayfinder in your life or better yet, you may even realise you are one.
